The site served as a fish hatchery back in the 1940s, and as a result, many birds continue to return to the area to nest. This unique background adds a wonderful natural element to our location. The best time to visit if from mid-April (migration happens) throughout the summer. Be sure to use the Merlin Bird app for your upcoming bird watching activities. It is an excellent tool that assists with identification for birders of all experience levels.
